DAY 1: Arrival in Kigali
You will be welcomed by our representative who will pick you up from the airport and transfer to your hotel in Kigali. You will have rest as you prepare for the next day start of 6 Days Nyungwe Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking Rwanda

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
In the morning, you will be picked up by the driver from your hotel in Kigali after your breakfast and embark on a 6 hours’ drive to Nyungwe national park. You will have a stopover visit to the King’s Palace in Nyanza and national museum in Butare and then have lunch enroute to the park. Arrive in Nyungwe in the evening and connect to your accommodation to spend the evening at leisure as you have a rest from the long journey, preparing for the next day activity

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk
Enjoy breakfast and go for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees, this is one among the greatest highlight of 6 Days Nyungwe Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking Rwanda before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are much easier to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimpanzee tracking usually takes about 3 hours. On finding them, spend an hour while taking pictures and videos. You will then return to your accommodation for lunch.
After lunch, you will go on a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk-a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees. You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving about below you. Before night fall, you will return to the lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park and Ibyi’ wacu Village Tour
Have a relaxed breakfast meal at your hotel. You will then meet up with your safari guide and head out for your journey to Volcano national park where you will be in the dense forest to meet the gentle giants. You will have a stopover for lunch and Later drive to your lodge

Day 5: Gorilla trekking
Most mornings for guests visiting Volcanoes National Park begin early with an energy-giving breakfast at the lodge. After having your backpack ready, have your packed lunch and you will head to the park offices for the gorilla trekking briefing. Here, you will be allocated a gorilla family and a park guide who will lead you through the forest in search of the magnificent apes. The trek can take 1 to 2 or more hours before finding the gorillas, although this duration is mostly determined by how far the gorillas have moved.
The thrill of spotting the elusive mountain gorillas is simply indescribable. Watching them up close as they feed, relax, play, and take care of their little ones is nothing short of magical. You will have a full hour with them before gently exiting the forest and heading back to the point where you left your driver guide where you will head back to the lodge to rest from the day’s activity

Day 6 Return to Kigali
Wake up in the morning at leisure, you will have your breakfast, check out of the lodge as we have come to the end of our safari, head on a journey back to Kigali, you will be taken for a city tour, visiting the Rwanda genocide memorial grounds, some craft shops and your driver guide will give you some information on the culture and history of Rwanda.(Optional at extra cost) where you will be transferred to the Airport
