Early morning after a hearty breakfast and a cup of coffee, you will be picked up from Entebbe airport or at your hotel in Kampala by our experienced and knowledgeable driver guide from Wonder wheels tours and travel then head to Nakiwogo landing site in Entebbe before 2pm just to make sure you don’t miss out the ferry and by 5pm you will have arrived at Ssesse islands. For those who might have used an alternative route through Masaka district that is the southwest of Kampala district which drive takes about 2hours to reach the ferry. Upon arrival, you will sail on the largest Bugala island though you happen to reach earlier, and the ferry is left with more hours to reach the pier then you will have a tour of the Entebbe botanical gardens widely known as the Entebbe zoo.
In transit by water, you will come across the lovely bay of Lutoboka in Bugala Island where you will stage and check in at the lodge according to the budgets. Since the travel is by water transport, weather on lake Victoria is unpredictable especially during the rainy seasons that is march to May or October to November as this may cause delays or cancellation of ferry services therefore making the dry seasons that is June to September or December to February are preferable but that doesn’t guarantee the weather on the lake therefore preferable to check the weather forecast before travel.

When packing you should consider attires with bright colors and light material to blend with the local environment, sun protection including sunglasses, hats and sunscreen to protect you from the sun, swim suit for your beach activities, walking shoes to ensure comfort when carrying out exploration and layers such as a jacket for cold evenings.
