If you are planning a trip to Africa, with very limited time to explore some of its beautiful places, this 3 Days gorilla safari to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is your best for an incredible experience. This is one of the very shortest of Rwanda Safaris that you can fit into your tight schedule while on your trip. Meant to start in Kigali, the adventure takes you through the rolling, endless hills with scenic views of the landscape throughout Musanze.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

It is always a warm welcome, you will meet our company representative/driver guide at the agreed  pick up point and right away hit the road for the transfer to Musanze. Depending on the start off time, we will have lunch enroute.

On arrival at the lodge, check in, freshen up, and later indulge in a sumptuous dinner before the retreat to the comfort of your lodge for the overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking 

Most mornings for guests visiting Volcanoes National Park begin early with an energy-giving breakfast at the lodge. After having your backpack ready, have your packed lunch and you will head to the park offices for the gorilla trekking briefing. Here, you will be allocated a gorilla family and a park guide who will lead you through the forest in search of the magnificent apes. The trek can take 1 to 2 or more hours before finding the gorillas, although this duration is mostly determined by how far the gorillas have moved.

The thrill of spotting the elusive mountain gorillas is simply indescribable. Watching them up close as they feed, relax, play, and take care of their little ones is nothing short of magical. You will have a full hour with them before gently exiting the forest and heading back to the point where you left your driver guide where you will head back to the lodge to rest from the day’s activity

Day 3 Return to Kigali

Wake up in the morning at leisure, you will have your breakfast, check out of the lodge as we have come to the end of our safari, head on a journey back to Kigali where you will be transferred to the Airport
