Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick up and transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival in Arusha Tanzania, your Safari guide will pick you up and drive you to your lodge for the night in Arusha. You will have time to relax and acclimatize to the new environment. In the evening, you will have a briefing with your guide, who will provide more information about the tour and answer any questions you may have. You will also have dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park
Today, after an early morning breakfast, you will embark on your road trip to the famous Serengeti National Park. On this six hour drive through the vast and beautiful savannah plains, you guide will begin to spot and show you several wildlife species that call the Serengeti home such as elephants, buffalos, kudu, impalas, elands, waterbucks, lions, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests among many others.

Day 3: Full day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Today, after an early breakfast at your lodge, you will head out for a full day game drive. On your morning game drive, you will look out for wildlife species like the big 5 such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks among others.
After your morning game drive, you will have lunch in the bush, and later engage in an afternoon game drive around the vast and beautiful Serengeti Plains in search of more wildlife species. After your full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Serengeti to Arusha International Airport and Flight to Zanzibar
Today, at the break of dawn, you will embark on your final game drive in Serengeti followed by a leisurely breakfast. At around 10am, your guide will transfer you via road to Arusha International Airport arriving in the early afternoon [typically arriving by 4pm] Your guide will drop you off at Arusha International Airport for a scheduled flight to the Zanzibar Island paradise, the next phase of your holiday safari!

Day 5: Stone Town Tour and Afternoon beach experience
Today, after a briefing from your guide, you will embark on an adventurous tour of the Old Stone town. The Old stone town is a part of Zanzibar city which was declared as world heritage site by UNESCO in 2000. With your guide you will take a walking tour the old town exploring the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar and the many historical sites including the house of wonders (national museums), old fort, old slave market, fruits and fish market, spice market, bazaar streets and many others You will enjoy a local lunch and then get back to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy relaxation at the beach at your leisure.

Day 6: Blue Tour
After a morning pick up from your hotel, you will meet your special boat crew for a special boat guided safari, popularly known as the blue tour. Today we will be visiting three different sandbanks (islands) of Zanzibar. You will stop at the first sandbank to rеlах while enjoying the sunshine аnd some frеsh island fruits. Next up will be the snorkeling sроt (island) whеrе yоu саn ехрlоrе thе соrаl lifе аrоund thе аrеа. Yоu will be given а snоrkеling mаsk аnd fins if yоu nееd thеm.
After this you will hеаd tо аn islаnd саllеd Кwаlе islаnd. Неrе уоu wіll bе sеrvеd a dеliсiоus seafood ВВQ for lunch. The buffet lunch includes fish, slipper lobster, calamari, rice and sauces all served hot from the grill. Аftеr yоur lunсh, you will head out to sее one of the island’s wonders, an оld baobab trее on the island fell dоwn but remarkably, still continues to grоw lеаvеs аnd give fruits!
If the tide permits, you will also get to explore the natural lagoon found on Kwale island. The lagoon is surrounded by a mangrove forest and you can go swimming in the lagoon for an unforgettable experience! Later in the evening, you will return to Kholle House Hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Spice Farm Tour
After breakfast we will embark on another very popular tour in Zanzibar, the spice farm tour.
In days past, Zanzibar was known as a spice island, exporting cloves, vanilla, nutmeg and cardamom across the world. The spices were brought over from Asia and South America and flourished in the tropical climes. Nowadays the plantations are a tribute to the island’s past, swapping spices for tourism, combining both in a spice tour.
On this tour, you will walk through local farms, see workers climb into the spice trees, sample spices and fruits fresh from the field, and learn the history of Zanzibar’s spice trade. Touch, smell and taste different spices and tropical fruits and try to guess which is which, from the crushed leaves, the fruit, shoots and vines and creepers crawling up the Zanzibar Spice Tour trees. You will also get to learn from the locals how the various spices are grown.

Day 8: Prison Island Tour
Today after an early morning pick up, you will head to the famous Prison island where you will learn about the sad history of this island including slave trade and how the slaves were auctioned. You will also get to explore this beautiful island, which is an ideal place for a beach walk, on a relaxing half-day excursion from Stone Town. The view of Stone Town from the Prison island is breathtaking, especially at night. You will have a short-guided tour around the island. After the guided tour you can choose to swim in the crystal waters or explore the glorious coral reefs by snorkeling.
After this adventurous day, you will then drive to Langi Langi beach Bungalow for a relaxing afternoon and overnight stay.

Day 9: Lazy Day and Sunset cruise/Zanzibar dhow
Today, you will spend almost a full day relaxing at the hotel beach and enjoying beach activities at your leisure. Later at about 16:00pm, have an amazing sunset cruise with local boats known as the Zanzibar dhow. After loads of fun in the boat we will head back to Langi Langi Beach Bungalow for your overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for a flight to Arusha
Today, depending on the time of your flight, you will drive from the hotel to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for a flight back to Arusha, where you will then catch your international flight back home.
