Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Flight from Arusha to Zanzibar
After breakfast, your Safari guide awaits to take you on a short drive to Arusha Airport from where you’ll fly to Zanzibar. The flight is an easy one, taking a bit over one hour. You will be met by your driver-guide guide at Zanzibar Airport

Day 2: Stone Town Tour
Today, after a briefing from your guide, you will embark on an adventurous tour of the Old Stone town. The Old stone town is a part of Zanzibar city which was declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2000. With your guide you will walk tour the old town exploring the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar and the many historical sites including the house of wonders (national museums), old fort, old slave market, fruits and fish market, spice market, bazaar streets and many others You will enjoy a local lunch and then get back to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy the beach experience at your leisure.

Day 3: Blue tour
After a morning pick up from your hotel, you will head to Fumba village where you will meet your special boat crew for a special boat guided safari, the blue tour. Today we will be visiting three different sandbanks (islands). You will stop at the first sandbank to rеlах while enjoying thе sun and some frеsh island fruits. Next up will be the snorkeling sроt whеrе yоu саn ехрlоrе thе соrаl lifе аrоund thе аrеа. Yоu will be given а snоrkеling mаsk аnd fins if yоu nееd thеm.
After this you will hеаd tо аn islаnd саllеd Кwаlе islаnd. Неrе уоu wіll bе sеrvеd a dеliсiоus Seafood ВВQ. The buffet lunch includes fish, slipper lobster, calamari, rice and sauces all served hot from the grill. Аftеr yоur lunсh, you will bе tаkеn tо sее a local wonder, thе оld baobab tree thаt fell down but still grows leaves and gives fruits. If the tide permits, you will also get to explore the natural lagoon found on Kwale Island. The lagoon is surrounded by a mangrove forest and you can go swimming in the lagoon for an unforgettable experience. Later in the evening, you will return to Tembo hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Prison Island
Today after an early morning pick up, you will head to Prison Island where you will learn about the sad history of this island, that is, the slave trade and how the slaves were auctioned. The 5.6km boat trip from Stone Town to Prison Island takes around 25 minutes. You will get to explore this beautiful island, which is an ideal place for a walk, on a relaxing half-day excursion from Stone Town. The view of Stone Town from the island is breathtaking especially at night. You will have a short-guided tour around the island. After the guided tour you can swim in the crystal water or explore the glorious coral reefs by snorkeling.
Afterwards, we will take a boat back to Stone town and drive to Nungwi to the natural aquarium for the amazing natural aquarium experience where you get to swim with sea turtles!
After this adventurous day, you will then drive to Amani bungalow for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Relax at the beach, Sunset cruise/Zanzibar dhow
Today, you will spend almost a full day relaxing at the hotel beach and enjoying beach activities at your leisure. Later at about 16:00pm, you will drive back to Stone town for an amazing sunset cruise with local boats known as the Zanzibar dhow. After loads of fun in the boat we will head back to Amaani bungalow for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer back to Arusha
Today is the last day of your amazing Zanzibar stay. After a sumptuous leisure breakfast, you may have time to relax by the beach before your transfer back to Zanzibar airport to catch your flight back to Arusha.
