Detailed itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon arrival, your Safari guide will be on hand to pick you up from Entebbe airport (or other specified pickup point) and transfer you to Protea Hotel Entebbe, only a 15-minute drive from the airport.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have time to explore Entebbe town. There are many options in Entebbe and a tour can easily be organized at an extra cost.

DAY 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Today, after an early morning breakfast, your guide will meet you at your Hotel. After a briefing, you will leave Entebbe/Kampala heading westwards to Kibale forest for the primate safari. The destination of the day is Kibale Forest National Park, which is home to the highest population of chimpanzees in Uganda. It will be a full day’s road trip as we drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside. You will have a stopover en-route for lunch, you will arrive late in the evening, and check in to the Kibale Forest camp, where you will spend the night.

DAY 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
Today, you will be woken up by the sounds of the jungle, and served an early morning breakfast. Your guide will pick you up from your lodge and transfer you to the tracking point, where you will be briefed about the day’s trekking activity. Your whole day will be spent in the jungle trekking the chimpanzees. Trekking is a great way to get close to the chimpanzees and you will savor the chance to meet the chimps in their natural habitat. You will also have many great photo opportunities for sure. When your adventure with the chimps is over your guide will drive you back to the lodge for a relaxing evening in Kibale forest camp where you will spend the night

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day, you will check out of the lodge, your driver guide will transfer you to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch, stopover at the Equator to take photos, buy souvenirs among others. From the Equator, you will continue to Kampala where you will arrive early in the evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
