Detailed itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon arrival, your Safari guide will be on hand to pick you up from Entebbe airport (or other specified pickup point) and transfer you to Protea Hotel Entebbe, only a 15-minute drive from the airport.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have time to explore Entebbe town. There are many options in Entebbe and a tour can easily be organized at an extra cost.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early morning delicious breakfast, Meet up with your guide, you will be briefed about the safari by your guide, head out of your hotel on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. This is a long journey from central to southwestern, on your way, you will have a stopover for en-route lunch where after you will continue the journey with spectacular views of the countryside, change in beautiful landscapes, Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands, plantations among others. Upon arrival in Bwindi impenetrable national park you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast, today is an exciting epic day and highlights of our safari, you will carry packed lunch, and your driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to view a number of different primate species, mammals, different bird species, and tree species among others. This will give you a mesmerizing experience as you move to meet the gorillas. Once the gorilla family is located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, learn about their habits, behaviors, take photos and record the breathtaking moments.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National park
After an hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the start point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide to go for an Optional cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, visit their homesteads, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional performances among others. After the cultural tour, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day, you will check out of the lodge, your driver guide will transfer you to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch, stopover at the Equator to take photos, buy souvenirs among others. From the Equator, you will continue to Kampala where you will arrive early in the evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
