Detailed itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon arrival, your Safari guide will be on hand to pick you up from Entebbe airport (or other specified pickup point) and transfer you to Protea Hotel Entebbe, only a 15-minute drive from the airport.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have time to explore Entebbe town. There are many options in Entebbe and a tour can easily be organized at an extra cost.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park,
You will have an early morning breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and brief you about the safari, start off your safari with transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, This marks the start of our 6 days of Queen Elizabeth National Park and Gorilla trekking you will have a stopover en-route for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park and upon arrival in the park, you will take a rest from the long journey as you prepare for the next day.

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast, you will head out with your guide to go for a morning game drive which starts very early in the morning so as to view the early risers. During the game drive which is commonly done in Kasenyi plains you will be able to view different animals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, bird species, you will have an amazing morning, an opportunity to cutch of with the beautiful sun rise and also take beautiful pictures of the landscape. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an exciting boat cruise on Kazinga channel, a water body that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. The scheduled boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours ride and gives you an opportunity to clear photos, here you cruise meters away from large concentrations of hippos and elephants taking a bath cooling themselves in the water, other animals like buffaloes, antelopes among others which will be drinking water along the banks, bird species like egrets, flamingoes flying over, pin tailed wyder, crested eagles kingfisher. Here you will view fisher men on the lake shores preparing their fishing gears for night fishing among others. After the interesting boat ride you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early morning delicious breakfast, Meet up with your guide, you will be briefed about the safari by your guide, head out of your lodge on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. This is going to be a journey deeper to southwestern, the journey offers you spectacular views of the countryside, change in beautiful landscapes, Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands, plantations among others. Upon arrival in Bwindi impenetrable national park you will check in, have lunch and take arrest at the lodge as you prepare for the next day activity

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast, today is an exciting epic day and highlights of our 6 days of Queen Elizabeth National Park and Gorilla trekking safari. You will carry packed lunch, your driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to view a number of different primate species, mammals, different bird species, and tree species among others. This will give you a mesmerizing experience as you move to meet the gorillas. Once the gorilla family is located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, learn about their habits, behaviors, take photos and record the breathtaking moments.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National park
After an hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the start point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide to go for an Optional cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, visit their homesteads, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional performances among others. After the cultural tour, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day, you will check out of the lodge, your driver guide will transfer you to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch, stopover at the Equator to take photos, buy souvenirs among others. From the Equator, you will continue to Kampala where you will arrive early in the evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
